Certification Testing
EMVCo is the governing body to facilitate global interoperability and acceptance of secure payment transactions based on smart card technologies, commonly referred to as EMV. EMVCo manages and updates related specifications for test procedures and compliance processes of payment devices and security properties. EMVCo’s work is managed by six member organizations: American Express, Discover, JCB, Mastercard, UnionPay, and Visa.
Q-Card is accredited to perform certification/type approval for American Express, Visa and EMVCo. This testing includes cards, wearables, payment terminals and mobile devices.
